Frequently asked questions
What makes Laurel Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress stand out from other latex mattresses?
It features 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop organic latex with a customizable 4" base and a 3" middle layer, plus a 2" soft top. Each latex layer is individually wrapped to reduce friction, and it uses an organic cotton cover with wool for temperature regulation and durability.
How do the adjustable layers affect comfort and support?
You can choose the firmness of the base and middle layers (firm/medium for the base; firm/medium/soft for the middle) to tailor overall support, while the 2" soft top smooths surface pressure points for a more responsive feel.
Is this mattress suitable for an adjustable bed base?
Yes. The design and layering accommodate adjustable bed bases, helping you find a comfortable asleep position with customizable firmness on each layer.
What materials are used in the cover and filling, and how do they help with comfort?
The mattress uses an organic jersey cotton cover quilted with soft organic wool, plus organic wool filling, which aids temperature regulation and a breathable, cool sleep surface.
What should a first-time buyer know about sizing and custom options?
The mattress offers customizable queen and king configurations by sleeping side and has custom sizing available upon request to fit your room and preferred sleeping setup.
Who would benefit most from this latex setup and who might prefer something else?
sleepers seeking adjustable-level support and a breathable, natural materials bed would benefit; those needing simpler, non-custom layers or a different firmness profile might consider standard options.
